fyi,
New Generation Produce has epic tropicals right now:
Custard Apples are insane!
Longons
dragon fruits
rambatans and a lot more
they have particularly amazing stuff recently.
Just make sure you work with the right sales guy, don't let anyone push something on you that you aren't sure is great - try it!

That's a great idea, Laura. I'm not doing anything special today, maybe next year...

Of course every day is 811 day when you’re a low-fat fruitbat, but I’ve found that the date 8/11 is often a good ‘hook’ to get outsiders interested in living fruitier and rediscovering the joy of Mother Nature’s most perfect foods! I’m planning a BYOB (Bring Your Own BANANAS!) Party for those in my apartment complex. How do you all commemorate 8/11 each year? Do share the ‘juicy’ details on how you plan to spread the knowledge that changes lives..

Hey,
I have a solo show at the Sidewalk Café on Ave. A and 6th st. this Wednesday, Aug. 4th at 10pm. It's often noted on this site that 811 is really helpful for athletics. I'd love to show how helpful this diet is to singing, playing the piano, listening, seeing, thinking, feeling, etc.. If you want a small hint of what I do, check out http://www.reverbnation.com/jonathanwoodvincent
It's the stuff with just piano and voice...
Thanks!

I love your enthusiasm in this video, Michael. You remind me of that guy in the slap chop commercials!

THANK YOU MICHAEL! Amazing. Inspiring.
I definitely have to get over there. I'm still paying full price for fruit. Spending $1.50 per conventional mango, & $35 dollars per case for organic bananas. I'm paying way too much.
