Sorry guys, I will not be putting on an event for Christmas. I am in contact and I am going to plan smaller group activities for those around so I request that those in NYC over Christmas to stay in touch. Those of you who would like to meet me and have not so, feel free to PM me and see what I'm planning.

Hi everyone! Several of you have been asking so I wanted to post a picture and description my Shyang-Tian Vegetable Shredder (the brand of spiralizer I used to make the ultra-thin veggie noodles in my 811 pasta casserole dish for the Thanksgiving party). It’s the perfect gift to help you stay LOW FAT RAW VEGAN this Christmas season!! If anyone has trouble ordering it from an online site, just let me know because I have business connections with some specialty produce retailers who also stock the Shyang-Tian shredder, Vita-Mix, Kyocera ceramic knives, and other fruit-friendly products. Cheers! :)

“The unique Shyang-Tian vegetable shredder - so versatile and easy to use, you'll wonder how you did without it! Its simple hand-cranked operation makes shredding and slicing a breeze. Carrots, radishes, potatoes, onions, cabbage, and more are all quickly and easily transformed into fine strips, slices, or curly strands. Just attach the toothed blade of your choice and place your vegetable onto the turning wheel. Then simply push the sliding plate with your left thumb while cranking the wheel clockwise and you'll have the highest quality vegetable shreds you've ever seen. A great gift idea for anyone who loves to cook!

Includes 3 blades (coarse, medium, and fine) to create a variety of unique dishes. Constructed of ABS and nylon plastic resin, for easy cleaning and durability. Heat resistant up to 150°F. (Item #727026)”

A request: I would like to know who will be around between either December 22nd-23rd or after Christmas, the 27th-31st and would be interested in attending. I have a few ideas floating around and would like a head count if possible. Let me know which days you will be available in this thread as soon as you can.

Please post in the thread, as opposed to here

Hey guys,

Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you over the Thanksgiving holiday!! Between all the meeting and greeting (and of course the eating!) going on, it was certainly a Thanksgiving to be thankful for! I consider myself incredibly blessed to have bonded with such a wonderful ‘bunch’ (pun intended) of 30BaDers who love living LFRV as much as I do! Big thanks to Jourdan, his family, and all of the partygoers for making this event such a “sweet” success :)

I'm a member of a group that does potlucks and I figured I would make it to one eventually but they eat such high-fat foods I don't think I can do it! We should have tri- or quad-state area meetups!!!

Thanks again Jourdan for putting together this meet up. Like everyone's said it was fantastic! There were so many inspiring people in one place.

Everyone, I request that you say something in the 811 thanksgiving thread when you have a chance so I can quote you. :P
