In the spring time, I began to reduce my mobile phone usage, usually only using it for talking less than 30 minutes oer day and then slowly, week by week reducing my talk time and texting as often as possible. I then went completely no mobile after I finished college. It was hard to not use the cell phone at college since I had no landline and my family wanted to speak to me, as I wanted to also speak to them. But after reading some more and thinking, I went phone free in the summer and lasted for 2 months or so. Then I was kind of peer pressured by friends into using it again. "You need to have a phone, stop being odd". But now, I have not even touched my mobile phone for over 2 months, its been turned off. I only ever talk on landlines now and am weary when others ack me to use theirs. After reading some more of the articles posted in this group. I'm never using one ever again. Society and friends, even family can stuff it! I'm not getting no tumours to my body temple. It's time to stand for what I believe in, even more than I currently do. Peace and love

I do not have a mobile and have banned them from my gym.

Not only are there the health concerns, but you do not need to be plugged in 24/7.

I have never owned a cell phone. I refuse to use one. Every time I ever tried, I got as headache that lasted for hours. This is dangerous, unproven technology and humans are the guinea pigs. Humans managed just fine for decades without them. Now all of a sudden, most people can't live without them and think you're weird if you don't have one. Read how they cause untold numbers of cancer and brain tumours: http://commonground.ca/iss/0612185/cg185_cellphone.shtml

I gave up the cell phone for over a year, happily. However, I recently took one for a trip to my daughter's college graduation in NYC. For travel, and rendezvousing with people in crowded public places it's a great tool. It really helped to have it for these reasons.

Yes, I've been seduced by the convenience factor. I will keep it, but only for very limited use. What I have is cheap - (I only have to pay $16.43 per month and receive 150 roll over minutes) - and I will only use it in a very limited way.

Now those who understand the down side of cell phones. I wear it on my hip pack, and keep it off! I only turn it on if I wish to use it, or I'm expecting an important call. I only use it with speaker phone, so I keep it a couple feet from the head.

Another significant topic one rarely sees addressed is this. A persistent rumor states that the cell phone towers could be used to propagate frequencies that fog over or disrupt the normal functioning of the minds of the populace. This is probably being held as a potential use by the controllers. I am not aware of this being used casually.

I truly worry about people who press these damaging radiating devises against their skull for trivial reasons for long periods of time. Cell phones could certainly be made much more harmless. It's been reported that the worst possible frequency for human health was chosen for cell phones.

Technology must be for the good of the people, and the planet, not for exploitation or to support the death culture.

I suppose that now I will retire from this group.

Peace and Blessings,

Jonathan
