Hi everyone,
I'm new to this website and lfhc-raw, in general. I have excess weight to lose; and, so far, I've gotten more the sense that people are coming from underweight (not overweight) backgrounds on this website.
Did anyone else originally get this sense?

But it doesn't matter what background any of us come to 811 from, it's a super good thing that people are learning, carbing up and getting healthy.

Some people are starting to realise how great this diet is for weight loss/weight stabilisation, so coming to this from more mainstream diet backgrounds... however some people like me are initially interested for the reasons of weight loss and the ability to be more truly vegan (e.g. no palm oil, wheat, oils which harm animals in production). It's worked well for me! It's the natural diet, so of course, it can work for everyone if they do it properly!

I have actually watched some videos and seen some pictures of people which have come across as dangerously thin to me. But, I realize that everybody is different and everybody has their own personal journey to embark upon. I personally have always been overweight since I was a child due to being fed hot dogs, Big Macs, Mac n Cheese, etc and the vegan lifestyle has been a revelation for me. I would say that I am about 10-15 lbs overweight right now but I'm not stressing it. It will come off in it's own time.
That is a great attitude Heather! I have gained weight on this diet (because I am eating a ton more calories) but my health is better! I do agree I was scared to lose too much at first cause some of the pictures and videos on this site, but that was not the case for me thankfully.
