I wanted to post this link to a wonderful article called, "Does God want us to eat meat?" ah, gotcha. yes, Jesus-followers; thought you just meant raw vegans.  there might be a houston area group on here somewhere?  there is also a facebook group called raw food christians.  paul nisson runs it; he is a hallelujah acres person.  the internet was my Christian raw vegan support for a long time.  so grateful my hubby is now almost eating this way and gets the vegan thing, stewardship, and is a Christian.  he is my biggest support now. :)

.hey TashaLee :).im actually a member of ROC and I see Kristina each week. im not sure who is a follower of Jesus and who is not. its been hard to even meet other raw vegans

hey fellow Tasha! :) isn't Houston where Kristina Carillo-Bucaram does her Rawfully Organic co-op?  if so, bet you could meet some like-minded folks there! 

i was actually going to post on this group bc i was thinking of it today...had some conversations today that reminded me how grateful i am for you guys.  health is such a touchy subject.  i have got to continually remember to speak few words and be an example.  keep my lips tight instead of preaching. hehe

This group is an answer to prayer!  I live in Houston which is known as the restaurant capital of the world and obviously meat eating city... I don't have many friends that eat and believe the way that I do.  Would be so nice to find some friends close to Houston that share this same passion.

Hey Folks,

I just wanted to say I think this groups is fantastic! I have been 8/1/1 vegan for 3 months now and I've experienced so many positive changes in my life since then. I've feel ready to 'evangelize' much the same as Jesus called his disciples to spread the good word. This prayer has been in my heart of late and it helps me to pick my battles and know when to speak up and when to live by example and pray for those who are still trapped in the meat and dairy madness.

God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

If you haven't yet, check out Hallelujah Acres @ hacres.com and their youtube channel. They are a Christian organization promoting a mostly raw food and plant-based diet.

I know! Its great that there are Christians eating the way God intended!  I would love to see more hearts changed toward all of God's creation!
