hey all, i feel led to create a video to challenge my Christian brothers and sisters to consider eating lfrv/hcrv. i feel, as someone recently posted on here, that God has led me to this way of eating, and personally, now, that it is very clear to me that eating any other way (for me) is plain selfishness.
i want to give it a title that is catchy and will intrigue my Christian bros/sisses to watch it, yet doesn't turn them off. i want to list reasons why i believe we should all be eating this way...but not say it as such.
please share ideas on a title and also reasons you feel should be included.
some ideas i have had are "27 (or however many i come up with) reasons why every Christian ought to consider eating lfrv" ; or "27 excuses that Christians give for why they can't eat low-fat raw vegan--the lies exposed" (i like this one better in some ways but feel it could turn people off by people too bold...etc. i thought about doing it with a friend and having one of us say the excuse and the other respond to it, etc. or i could just list my reasons for doing this, etc.
help please! i feel like i should make this video soon, due to some recent experiences, and i value your input--thanks!!! tash

Permalink Reply by Glow on October 28, 2011 at 5:23am I'm not saying that it's wrong to eat meat or anything, but its interesting to see if you look in genesis 1:29 that God gave us every plant, that sets seeds, and every tree that gives fruit with seeds as food for humans after he made them. Also every tree in the garden except one only.
It's only after the fall into sin that God all the way into genesis 9 that God says that animals are given as food to humans also. Just speculation, but if there was no fall, maybe everyone would be on fruit, leaves and veggies :)
Anyways don't worry about what others think, as long as you are happy and feel well, and don't find that you look down on others I think you should do what you feel healthy doing.

Although certain meats were given the okay, it makes me think that it was supposed to be fruits and veggies all along.

Permalink Reply by HealthySkinnyBeautiful-TashaLee on November 27, 2011 at 1:25am thank you! more and more i am thinking maybe just not a great idea until i learn how to communicate this stuff in a positive way...i wrote a post and posted on facebook and then regretted it and deleted it after someone told me how obnoxious it was and really probably accomplished the exact opposite of my intentions.... :)

Permalink Reply by Lala M. Apples on January 9, 2012 at 9:47am Good for you! Personally, I feel at peace. I haven't really been on this diet long. However, most mention clarity of mind, which can be helpful for meditation/prayer. This is one good reason to try it. Also, many people wouldn't harm animals or other living creatures on an every day basis, however unintentionally though eating meat etc. they are. As Christians you should love/respect all living things. So it fits a vegan lifestyle. (I don't have an issue with people who don't choose this lifestyle, but makes sense to me!) Also, our bodies are God's temple, and we should take care of it the best we can. Good luck in your endeavour.
