In doing the transition to more highly raw from low fat, high carb vegan cooked...... maybe some of you experienced this and will have advice.
- I'm finding my appetite for fruit less and less, and I'm eating pasta and potatoes to fill the void of calories.
-do you start to like bananas more and more? is there a way to essentially "like" them more over time?
- is it detox to find fruit unappealing a few days into it?
- with not liking bananas, I find myself grazing throughout the day (opposite of helpful)
(I do use frozen mango as a high calorie fruit.)
-how many calories are you trying for in a meal?
Thanks so much for any advice.

Try medjool dates at 66 calories each, I have a hard time eating only fruit too! I need like low fat savory vegan food along with the fruit.

Permalink Reply by J on June 24, 2012 at 4:41am Blending and eating by themselves. I've tried blending the bananas with mangos and berries. And, someone recommended that spinach helps with the consistency. The most I'll put in a smoothies is two. Not many. More than 2 and it takes over the taste.
I know bananas are like the bread of the raw world - so, I'm hoping I'll enjoy them more.
Initially, I came from a background of thinking 'yellow' bananas were proper. So, I'm trying the different styles of ripening them.
