Hello everyone, I'm starting a challenge myself this Saturday(7/7), I've been eating a LOT of added salt lately and really too much fat. I've even slipped up once and ate something that contained powdered SOY MILK!!!!! UGHHH!!!! I've been too leanient lately and not being as strict and aware as I should be! My challenge is this:
First and Foremost, absolutely NO ANIMAL products, literally check every label twice if you must!
Get 8-10 hours of sleep EVERY night
Try to play outside everyday for vitamin D
Less than 10% fat calories each day
No added salts (I know, tough one), only those naturally occuring
Strictly: 2 fruit meals and 1 cooked meal
No fried foods, of course
Plenty of water (I aim for 1.5 gallons most days, but some people do less)
I'll be tracking my progress here, so you can follow and keep me on track if you'd like:) Also if anyone wants to join me I'd love the company. Anyone who's joining me can also give me ideas on the vital things I've missed. Thanks everyone! I won't let you all down!
B: 1/3 of a large watermelon
L: 6 navel oranges
D: course 1: 5 bananas, 7 dates, 1 atualfo mango
course 2: 2.5 cups of brown rice, 1 cup cooked corn, 3 tbs homeade Pico de gallo(no salt added)
course 3: vegan tiramisu, (15 dates, 7 bananas, 1 red delicious apple)
Sleep: Only got 7.5 hours!!! Was really tired at some points of the day but my energy was super high:)
Exercise: Beachbody workout program called Brazil Butt Lift(50 minutes), also worked today so I was really active.
Water: little over 1 gallon, I'll do better at counting my water intake tomorrow.
Sun: @ least 30 minutes, was outside working today
Just saying, I'm so glad there's people interested in this! I'm so happy we're all doing this together. I really need to get on the right path and stay on there. For people new to this lifestyle, I have a few questions about the beginning detox process. At first my skin was clear but now some acne is starting to rise up, I'm assuming this is normal since the bad toxins are coming from the inside to my pores to be let out, but has anyone else experienced this too in the beginning? I've been on this lifestyle for almost 2 months I think but the detox process is what's confusing me the most, not that I'm worried, just interested:) if anyone has similar or different experience with the beginner's detox I'd love to read them!
