Comment by FruityGirl :) on June 4, 2013 at 5:46am David~ I'm sure you'll figure it out.. What about Potato? Forage for sure.. :)
Comment by David Costa on June 3, 2013 at 4:30pm I do buy fruit, and a lot of oatmeal. Oatmeal has a lot more calories-per-dollar and I still can't buy enough food with it, I forage some food too. I also work a lot, not just cycling.
Comment by FruityGirl :) on June 2, 2013 at 10:07am Hi David~ Why aren't you buying fruit with your food stamps?
Comment by Rachelle Abel on June 1, 2013 at 4:30pm David Costa - Really 5000 calories? That is like twice the amount you need for you size and activity level. Men need about 2500 to 3000 calories a day in order to maintain energy levels. I saw you biking from Kapoho towards Pahoa this afternoon. I know that's a work out but 5000 calories seems like a lot.
Comment by David Costa on June 1, 2013 at 1:51pm I'm up for that Raybo. Haven't been eating very much fruit over here in Kapoho, I could use fruit or cash to buy fruit, and Kona might be fun to hang out in for a while. I just have no cash right now, but I work very hard and need food right now. I'm skilled in a lot of ways, and able bodied from eating 5000 calories a day, but it has been mostly oatmeal :(
