C'mon over and pull some weeds in the garden, help me plant potatoes, and you can get a bunch cheap ;)

Potato costs more than oatmeal

I do buy fruit, and a lot of oatmeal. Oatmeal has a lot more calories-per-dollar and I still can't buy enough food with it, I forage some food too. I also work a lot, not just cycling.

Hi David~ Why aren't you buying fruit with your food stamps?

David Costa - Really 5000 calories?  That is like twice the amount you need for you size and activity level.  Men need about 2500 to 3000 calories a day in order to maintain energy levels.  I saw you biking from Kapoho towards Pahoa this afternoon.  I know that's a work out but 5000 calories seems like a lot.

I'm up for that Raybo. Haven't been eating very much fruit over here in Kapoho, I could use fruit or cash to buy fruit, and Kona might be fun to hang out in for a while. I just have no cash right now, but I work very hard and need food right now. I'm skilled in a lot of ways, and able bodied from eating 5000 calories a day, but it has been mostly oatmeal :(

Also, for those who may be interested, Jasmuheen will be at our sanctuary for a 2 day workshop on Aug 5 & 6, and then in Kauai after that, I think the 8-10.  She is an amazing being, definitely worth spending some time with her if you can.
