Comment by Renee on May 4, 2013 at 8:20am I'm going to be visiting Honolulu/Waikiki this summer (time TBD). I've been to almost all the islands, but this is where my family seems to enjoy it the most. I'm not really familiar with anything outside of the Waikiki area, and I really want to explore more this time. It will be my first time here on this diet, and I'm nervous about the high grocery costs. If anyone has any tips or suggestions, or even lives on the island and would want to show little ol' me to new places, please let me know! :)

Comment by David Costa on March 24, 2013 at 8:45am It's great here, can be naked most of the time, getting lots of "nudie baking" done, with some naked babes (:
Still haven't found the great places for good fruit, living off food stamp purchased oatmeal and rice a lot of the time.
Found a nice Eco village to stay at called cinderland, hanging out getting stoned all the time, makes me want to switch to eating it raw instead of burning it and inhaling all the toxins from burning it. There's fruit growing around and lots of hippies to hang out with.
Comment by Primal Rich on March 23, 2013 at 3:25am Hey Mic, you should hook up with me in Puna, I founded that group and have left recently.
Comment by MIC on March 23, 2013 at 2:59am Anyone here from Moana 'Ula Community?
Comment by MIC on March 2, 2013 at 11:20am Looking to network and meet people living in Hawaii, planning on moving there and being an artist while working on fruit farms, planning to get there sometime late may.
Anyone in Hawaii feel free to hit me up and share any useful info.

Comment by David Costa on March 1, 2013 at 1:15pm Bought a ticket to Hilo, Big Island, I'll be there Monday afternoon
Comment by Trevor Gates on February 24, 2013 at 7:56am I agree with Rachelle. The rain water is super acidic due to volcanic emissions. I tested mine once at 4.3 PH! The town tap crap is not as bad as the mainland stuff but it is good to let the chlorine air out. this does create chlorine by-products though. I think its best to catch rain, readjust the PH with baking soda and filter it through ceramic at the least. some folks have fancy ionizer filters but these are $$.. I still think one should only drink coconut water for hydration.. Come join me and my coconut business and you will have choke water David!
