This is my first real year of trying to garden. I planted some brussels sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower, some lettuce AND....I am growing FIVE apple trees from sprouts. I know this one is a long term investment but I planted 5 seeds from our apple a few weeks ago and here they are now!

Check out my front yard container garden on Youtube! After watching many other gardeners worldwide share their knowledge on youtube, i have decided to start sharing my garden. I am a renter, so i can't build as many raised beds as i want, so i have a lot of containers.

I plan on uploading videos as the growing season progresses, as well as recipes, growing experiments, etc, so if you have a youtube account, please subscribe to my channel to see more videos.

We have quite a few seedlings on the front porch, and it's been so warm that they've gotten to spend a few nights outside! :D we are growing lots of tomotoes, romaine, cucumbers, melons, carrots, basil, cilantro, dill, oregano, chamomile, sage...and maybe some other things too :)

Drought makes me sad.  Everything out there is dusty at the moment.

What a sweet rhyme :)

We continue to get storms, here in southeastern Oklahoma..so its delaying progress right now. Peach trees and winter pear trees are in bloom..

Sprouting okra, cucumber, tomato, canteloupe, and honey dew melon inside.. As well as two tomato plants, spaghetti squash, and mint are thriving inside. :)

Yummy treat to grow what we eat! some seeds and soil is just what we need...some water and sun to help them grow...and before you know, you have created life to nourish the soul!

Lekoma,  It is that point in the winter up here that I wished I lived else were. When I retire I will spend a few winter months in FLorida.

I noticed last spring that dandelions were the first to grow. I just ordered 10,000 dandelion seeds and when they get here I am going to throw down about half of them right on the snow.  I have an area  all fenced off for them. I am hoping they grow like weeds.

Lovely Dina! My gardening's a bit stalled until we re-fence, now that we have an inquisitive pup ;)
