Indoor aquaponic gardening

Anyone here familiar with aquaponics or have a system of their own? I'm currently in the process of building an indoor unit using a 55 gallon fish tank. My plan is to just stock it with pet goldfish since obviously I won't be eating them! Haha I'm totally intrigued and amazed by this gardening system but theres an overwelhming amou t of info out there. Just trying to keep it simple but effective so I cam grow my own organic garden indoors year round
