Comment by Pom on November 7, 2012 at 10:01am hello african woman!! we have a potluck this weekend you should come!! heres the facebook link https://www.facebook.com/groups/344854335581706/ its a group for all the fruitarians in montreal, at least most of them, we gather every few weeks, last time there was 8 of us!! you should really come!
Comment by African Fruitarian on November 7, 2012 at 9:40am Hey everyone.
Looking for a fruitarian roommate for december 1st. Don`t mind interviewing both guys and girls for now. I have a picture of myself and the apartment on my photos. I`m a 27 yr young quiet woman :) I really would love my roommate to be fruitarian because of the problems I have with craving cooked food. It would be nice to encourage each other through this lifestyle. Plus, I notice being on fruits makes you a very neat person. Your brain is not so scattered as when you`re on cooked food; hence, a neat roommate :)
Anyways, let me know. My number is 514 476 6451.
Take care.
lots of love and light,
Jennifer

For those who didnt join our facebook group
Bit of an update it is actually 13 prizes you have the chance to win. I am afraid the way it is looking that this will be the last year the fruit festival will be around. There does not look like there will be a bail out this year. If most of us don't donate this is it.
Here is info on the new raffle
Now the fruit festival is offering a chance to win a totally awesome Raffle prize and 25$ dollars is the price of one ticket. The more tickets you buy the more your chances to win and the more you increase the chances of the fruit festival to be around and increase in its ability to help others.

here is where you donate

all the best
Now I am going to get some sun :)
Hi everyone hope everyone is enjoying the amazing weather we have been having :)
I am calling out to as many people as I can about the fruit festival and there current debt which is around 180 000 dollars if they don't break even or close to it there probably won't be another which in my eyes is a travesty.
We should really get behind them by either going or at least donating what you can to make sure the festival stays. This is an amazing thing especially for our group since we are so close to it, are we going to let it slip through our hands with out a fight?. We will not get a festival like this again so close to us.
I created a thread which people have responded to and is going great, I am asking you guys to join in.

If you donate can you please also said you did so in the discussion below. The reasoning is that members will see the thread and hopefully donate. I will keep replying to the thread to keep it as visible as long as I can (my goal is right up to the fruit festival :)

Thank you.
P.S Melanie and Priscilla there might be a good chance that me and my brother will be going (possibly the kids). I will know by tomorrow, if we do we will either have 2, 3 or 4 spots (but most likely 3) open.
which both of you would have spots unless you have another ride. Let you know tomorrow :)
Comment by Melanie on July 18, 2012 at 9:50am Hey Priscilla! I am going to WFF too!! That makes at least 4 of us from montreal going there, that's amazing :))))
I don't have a car though, and wont be going by plane either... But I think Patricia is coming too, and she may offer a ride.
Comment by Priscilla on July 18, 2012 at 9:19am Hey guys! Who's going to the WFF? I'm going but haven't decide if I'll be going by plane, bus or car ride. Please let me know if anyone of you (who's driving) wants to share a ride from Montreal or something like that:)
