Hi Carlie, People are more active on facebook now. Jerome said he would host the next potluck but he didnt said when yet. I am not a fan of facebook eather, maybe you could create a facebook account and use it only for beeing part of the fruitarian community.

I just finished all your spinash yesterday... I fell like popeye ;)

Btw it was the 6th potluck.

Everyone tries to bring a little something to share it doesnt have to be a lot. This is our second potluck we're just starting to get to know each other. But everyone is nice and really cool and supportive. We're gonna do regular meetups/potlucks to motivate us to stay raw until we meet for the next time. You are welcome to join us. I'm really happy to have found other 811ers! In fact when is the next meetup.. In 2 weeks? I need to schedule my stuff in advance cause im a busy woman..and is Jérôme on 30bad yet? We're supposed to do the next pot luck at his place

African fruitarian: join us on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/groups/344854335581706/

i usually bring a meal for myself, last time i had extra bananas to give to Carlie, Jerome shared a salad, mel with her peaches, francois with a durian. It was too much mixing for me, i like to keep it as simple as possible, but those organic peaches and durian were just to good! my favorites!

Hi guys. I've been having major cooked food cravings (mostly mental, though.... u know, pictures in my head and then remembering what it tastes like) anyways, I really want to to go 100% raw, and I think the main setback is the lack of support. Is it mostly potlucks that u guys do? also, how much fruit am I expected to bring?

Also, there's a community gardening in Lasalle, I don't know if this is useful information because, apparently, some other communities have it as well.

lots of love

Hi everyone! Melanie created this facebook group to make it easier to communicate between each other, fruit lovers in Montreal. It seems more relevant that it is a group rather than a facebook page, that way we can know the Members without necessarily having them as our friends. It especially facilitates the sending of invitations to events such as potlucks. I'm still missing people, please spread the word to add to the group!

  • There is a fruitluck this Saturday  at 6:00pm at 4170 rue de Bullion, Montréal, Qc, H2W 2E5.

I wanna get lemons in for the high-vitamin C content, I read in one of my naturopath books that having a diet rich in Vitamin C is what gets you to love fruit and crave a lot of fruit. It says ''a child that refuses fruits and vegetables should be put on a high vitamin C diet and he will start demanding it naturally'' I tried it before with grapefruit and it really works.. i juice them in the morning and drink it as is or diluted in a bit of water. I'm doing the lemon ''cleanse'' thats in the book. Im basically trying to do everything that will help me succeed. If you wanna split bananas and spinach thats awesome...just dont know how/where we'll separate the goods but we can talk about that this saturday? Im def going
