30 Bananas a Day!

Hello fellow Montrealers!! :)

I've been in Trinidad the last 7 months and will be returning to Montreal in 2 weeks.

I wanted to know if anyone has a good source of fresh dates??

Where to get good bananas?

And what and where is Geatan Bono???

Hope to meet some of you soon!

ok thanks, i'll check it out when i get there!

I get my medjhool dates from "GB" there pretty good not like the bautista family though. 66 dollars for 11 lbs.
I get my fresh dates at the Fruiterie on Taschereau in Greenfield Park on the South Shore.  About 4$ a box (40 dates?)

FYI on Gaetan Bono: If any of your fruit isn't up-to-par and you don't find out til after you've bought it, Gaetan Bono only gives you a 24hr. return period, where you need your receipt and the entire product. Last week I bought a case or Karondy Red Table Grapes and in 2 days the whole box was covered in white fuzzy mold. And most of them were in the fridge. So I wasn't able to return them. -$20.00 down the drain. So, just be aware, i guess!

Otherwise, I've had a great experience with Gaetan Bono. The checkout man always acts so stunned when he finds out im taking my 40lbs of bananas and 20 lbs of mangoes on the bus home. He does this silly face rolls his eyes, calling me crazy. lol! he's cute.

I haven't been to this place yet, but it's so funny because Gaetan Bono is actually the father of a best friend I had at school and I went many times eating at their house. Nice man ! :-)

I went to Gatetan Bono last week and they have 2 frigs of Organic food, including date of California.

I bought there 330$ of food a every thing, by boxes.

Have a good!

I am french so ''je te souhaite un beaux retour à Montréal!''
