Hi everybody! I'm so glad were all trying to get together! :)) Next time if you want a FREE place to go.. Park on the road next to the beach at ANY hour for FREE in JUPITER! Bring your Dog with NO Problems! Hahaha.. :)) These rules.. & stuff is so nutty to me.. That's why I eventually want to move to another country.. Peaceful, Tropical, NO Rules about when & how to enjoy nature.. Have Great Fruity Day!

The charge to enter Birch State Park is $4 per carload if memory serves.

Because you can't be 100% sure where you'll end up (could be North Parking lot, but if full, you may be elsewhere), a cell phone number of the person who plans to get there first should be given to all attendees ahead of time so they can call when they get to the park. The exact location can then be given.

Keep in mind, the park entrance to the beach closes at 5pm even though the park closes later. If you're out at the beach when the beach/park entrance closes, you'll have to walk around to the main entrance of the park (where you drove in) to get back in. It's also a good idea to print out a map of the park, available here.

thanks for offering feedback you guys...and Sam, that would be so awesome to finally meet you!  i hope it works for you to come over!  so okay sounds like saturday is the vote...how about 3pm-ish?   if we meet in the afternoon, my preference would be the picnic areas (since there is shade) with a walk to the beach?  does anyone else have a preference?  Don, looks like there is a charge to enter the park- do you know how much?  any ideas on how to find each other there?

I'll be in South Florida on the gulf coast that weekend. I'll see if it's a possibility to make my way over on Saturday. Afternoon would be best if I'm able to commit.

I'm so glad were trying to get a group together! I think on Sat. will be better for me. but can try for friday as well.. I really hope I can meet up with everyone!! :))

for me, saturday works better, but i can try to make it on friday as well, if that's the choice of the majority.

hey everybody, please give feedback on if Saturday june 30th would work for you better than friday the 29th at 6pm...i am just trying to set a date because personally, our weekends fill up quickly and we need to get something on the calendar if we are to come.  not trying to be bossy; just trying to be proactive so a meetup actually happens.  without feedback, though, it is hard to know what everyone is thinking...so please "vote" on friday or saturday so we can make a decision in the next few days and i can make sure the correct info is posted on the facebook group too...so other people can plan for it if they want to come.  thank you!

Yes, Saturday eve works for me too, and true, Saturday might be better for some folks, although the State parks tend to be more crowded on weekends. But we'll be a small group, so we should be fine.

perhaps saturday june 30th, mid-afternoon, instead?  (or as early as y'all want to meet.)

we might come later...i am partial to when Don can be there because i want my roommate to meet him and not sure how long he and hubby will be willing to hang out. :)

hey lads, i'm most likely going to make it - pending when i get off work. can't we do it on saturday or sunday instead? i think it would be easier for most people.
