We are thinking of making our talks a fun party-style format which includes fruit of course! Any thoughts? I'm wondering if it will end up being too long.

I am in the process of making a speech now that promotes this lifestyle. But I think if they see and hear from people that have been doing it for years it will catch their attention better.

Comment by Eddy Jones on February 17, 2012 at 7:18am: Hi Meghana, the swelling could be toxins being released, if you are with-drawing from dairy, additives ,preservatives etc.. they will manifest in gumboils, ulcers, purple tongue colouring,white scum or red spots, not nice but should clear up if you continue avoiding the pitfalls. The mouth has lots of glands that get plugged by certain products, when u stop eating these- you detox... this sounds more likely than the fruit being the problem-the fruit will just speed up the process.
