The chosen film will be Pure Fruit, a documentary starring Mango, Kveta, Harley, and Freelee. We will start it at around 7pm.
Please bring a tasty 811 dish or enough of your favorite fruit to share. Also, please bring your own plate, bowl, utensils, etc.
See you there!

Comment by Patrick Clark on March 30, 2013 at 7:54am Hi everyone. Is anyone interested in a hike at Chautauqua and a fruit picnic tomorrow? Zachary and I are planning to go tomorrow afternoon, before the Boulder and Beyond Vegan Meetup Group. My number is 303 668 4289 if you want to join us.
Comment by Audrey Walker on March 16, 2013 at 5:38am Hi all,
I'll be in Denver for a week staring April 7th. I'd love to rent a room rather than stay in a hotel. Please let me know if you have a room available or know of one.
Thanks!
Audrey
Comment by Patrick Clark on February 27, 2013 at 5:48pm For anyone interested, there is a vegan meetup group in Boulder. It is a cool way to meet other vegans, cooked and raw eaters alike. They hold a potluck once a month as well as restaurant outings from time to time. It is a good way to meet like minded people and even some fellow 811ers. Come and check it out this Saturday. Comment by Janel Holt on June 11, 2012 at 1:13pm Hi Raini,
Sorry for the late reply. Yes I consider myself a runner as well as a lot of other things. I just moved to Denver (close to Uptown/Five Points). I'm leaning towards 801010, but have had some setbacks. I don't beat myself up over it. I've been dabbling with it off and on for the past 2 years. I've had some good months, and some not so great months. Since I'm still new to the area I've joined some running groups and yoga groups from meetup.com. I've attended one at City Park that meets on Wednesdays at 630pm. A lot of my friends know I love eating this way, and occasionally tease me about it. In a loving way of course, not to make me mad. I
I too am working on my midsection as well. The saying "Abs are made in the kitchen, not the gym." rings very true for me. When I'm in the zone and eating 80-10-10 consistently things fall into place. As soon as I go off for a few days, it's hard getting back on track.
No matter how many times it takes me "falling off track" I know tomorrows another day to go at it. I can do this. I absolutely want to. I LOVE eating 80-10-10. Right now my main cravings involve salty stuff, especially tortilla chips. Salt is a slippery slope for me.
Wow I feel I just rambled on.
Anyhoo, if your schedule permits maybe we can meet at the meetup at City Park if that's doable.
:)

Comment by mangohead on March 18, 2012 at 12:52am If anyone is in the Capital Hill Area today (Saturday) I'll probably be chillin' at Cheeseman Park or the Botanical Gardens in the late afternoon. You can reach me @ 808-944-9435 :)
Comment by mangohead on March 17, 2012 at 9:18am Not sure what a central location would be...I'm on Capital Hill but it looks like a lot of folks are outside of the city.
