Cool! :) For me the only convenient time this year would be within my summer holiday from now until 29 July because when I'm in my pension again, they won't pay me for the foods I buy when it's not from within the area (it's complicated to explain due to a crazy policy in my pension -,-).

Where I buy my dates in Germany is the best deal I can get. I buy 29 kg Mozafati dates with a 10 % discount. You must ask the woman who owns the shop if that's also possible internationally. HERE are the dates in the site (the English version). I'll send you a PM with the woman's e-mail because she answers her e-mails usually promptly and it is best to place an order per e-mail.

Let me know what you find out. From what I know there are people here in your country that also have links to ordering dates from within the country. Find out what suits you best. :)

What happens to people on date island? I'm wondering if snacking on like 4000 calories of dates per day will give me the brain power for a week to figure some goals out.

i spent 2 weeks in germany in june & there i mainly lived on dates as i could not get anything else fresh & ripe :)

somehow i'd like to do it again ... but not now, in summer, as for me juicier fruits go much better with the temperatures of 30+ ...

anyway i'll have to find out how to get fresh dates to tenerife ... is there anyone travelling from germany (or elsewhere where you can get fresh dates) to tenerife who'd like to bring me some kilos?
