I LOVE service, it does me good!!! I have volunteered/served 2 full 10 day meditation courses, cooking meals, cleaning dishes, helping students with whatever, all so they could focus quietly on their meditation. It was rewarding in sooo many ways. I make expensive, organic, raw meals for kids and parents who come over and for parties and I consider that a very giving thing to do for them, for environment, for the animals, etc. Our neighbors kids ask their parents if they will PLEASE buy organic apples 'Cause they taste SO much better, PLEASE!!! lol. I've volunteered a few years at earth day booths talking to people about chemicals for the green party and why not meat for the vegetarian society and we did our own booth one time at an energy expo. It was so fun, we talked about how much energy you save being vegetarian, we had an awesome display including a live, adorable red hen! Alot of college expo's are in need of people to come display. You can contact the student groups, green or environmental or such to see when they'll have an event you could do. Man this is getting me excited to plan another! Cheers! :)
