hiya, i've got a certain question. how do you deal with all the situations in and around college in which there is none vegan, none 801010 stuff? obviously it's easy to just bring food along, but how do you cope with folks saying you were rude, arrogant not to even try their stuff at parties etc. do you go to parties at all, or do you praise your sleep? when you have long hours how do you transport and keep fresh for e.g. 20 bananas?  do you feel free to eat a bag of spinach as you do at home? please comment on this. and i hope it's not that you hardly eat in school and wait till you get home!

Fashion merchandizing seems so broad and interesting, good luck!!

I'm pretty much along with this philosophy as well, Sanaz.. :)

Veggie Newbie, not really! All I wanted to do is become a professor and a researcher, very passionate about it :) Although it's very saddening how their salaries are greatly at a disadvantage for such a respectable career.

If I wanted to go for the money, I'd go for an MD ;)

I don't really care about money. I'm just doing the science thing because I like to learn and in my mind if you can learn science you can pretty much learn anything haha

I actually really wanted to go to FIDM. I couldn't afford it though. I like to sew and make my own clothes and reconstruct old clothes.

Nice! Oh this may. Lucky. Im pretty much just starting. Haha I'll be in community college for at least another two years. I can transfer in a year to be an herbalist but I'd rather do it all and go to community college for as long as possible since its cheaper.
I'll have to check out that school. Portland is nice, I traveled through there on my way to Canada in January. The school I want to go to is in Seattle. In a national forest! Haha I visited it on that trip too. I walked up with a friend and we were just talking about how we don't know we're to go and a student asked if we wanted him to show us around. So nice.

I am in Sacramento and Davis has tons of fruits!
I go to American River College and am majoring in Chem to ultimately major in Biology and become a Naturopathic physician. I want to go to Bastyr University (super vegan friendly college!) :)

Nice! I'm majoring in biology, chem, and biochem. What do you learn in fashion merchandizing?

FSU is awesome! What do you major in?
