Hi guys, I'm new in this journey and I need your help. I use to be on raw vegan diet few years ago for a 6 months and I felt amazing. Then I came to America and since my lifestyle changed I went back on vegeterian (I don't eat meat in last 6 years). So when I first came here I saw that my body is changing. I was swollen and I gained a lot of weight(more water than fat tho). And then after one year in USA I figure out that I actually have gluten allergy. I want to be vegan because I feel amazing when I follow this lifestyle and I just need your support how to get over the crisis. Like what should I do when my body is craving junk food. Is there somebody from NYC so I can hang out with and talk about transition in person?

Unfortunately I havent been able to smell in the last 4 or 5 days.  Is it possible to eyeball it?

if they smell like alcohol they are too ripe.

Make a second and third smoothie in the morning or even the night before and take it to work.  No one questions you drinking out of a water bottle and it's easy to drink while working.  If you must eat lunch as a social thing then just bring a salad on top of the smoothies.

Hi everyone,

Does anyone have any tips on how to be raw during the day at work? 

I usually have a smoothie in the morning before going to work but then it gets so complicated during lunch as I don't have a lot of time and don't feel like eating 1kg of fruit...not sure how to handle it :(

Mortiz, I would say don't over think it, just eat whatever appeals most to u, as much as you want. The great thing about fruits n veg is that the body gives u very clear signals! (If u let it)

It can also change depending on your day. Eat when its most convenient to you. Don't be like oh its 12:00 I have to have lunch. Go with the flow. Easier to have fun this way. If u don't eat lunch u will eat more for dinner. Or body will tell you to.

Maybe u can try doing like a juciy fruit breakfast then go have all or adventures, fruit hunting etc. Then have another juicy fruit meal when u get back and then a nice sweet fruit meal (banana, cheremoya etc.) To slow down for the night.

Give yourself time to experiment. Don't try to force yourself to do what your supposed to do. Listen to they way your body responds and make changes accordingly.

Enjoy the fruity abundance!
