30BaD note: juicing (without the pulp) is not ideal for most people, it's far better to eat the whole fruit. why?

Comment by SoulSparkled on May 30, 2012 at 9:17pm Hi there!
I have been doing a vegetable juice each day, mixed fruit and veggies.
Eating fruit throughout the day, with a bit of crunchy veggies like carrot and celery and capsicum.
Having a handful of nuts and a fruit or green smoothie.
Then having a vegan dinner and a hot vegan drink or tea.
Is this an OK typical day?
I am finding that I have diahorrea a bit :-/ from all the fruit intake!!! What can I do to calm that down?
and I am also noticing that my teeth and gums are more sensitive then usual - so I've read that washing your mouth out after fruit based meals can be a useful thing.
Any tips or advice would be helpful as I'm starting out...
Comment by HandymanBananas on May 28, 2012 at 9:20pm thanks for the tube posts Tom. Yea maybe I ate too fast. In general I just scarf fruit. I will slow down on my next watermelon and see if there are changes. Thanks!

Comment by HandymanBananas on May 26, 2012 at 10:08pm second question: what does SAD stand for?
Comment by HandymanBananas on May 26, 2012 at 10:05pm hmm... thanks jimmy. i ended up eating about 4 last night blended over a salad BEFORE i got any responses (sorry i was hungry and couldn't wait!). the treatment of any of the products you mentioned isn't going to work for so yes, fresh is best. thanks all!
Comment by Stephanie McClennon on May 26, 2012 at 5:13pm good, jaiid! just keep playing around with your diet, like eating more for brekky or figuring out what your body really wants for lunch and then bringing that and maybe a few more options. that's what i've been doing :)
Comment by jimmy on May 26, 2012 at 4:16pm Seems they are all preserved in some way with salt, oil or sulphur, due to some semi dried tomatoes causing hepatitis.I've never seen any natural sun dried tomatoes in the best ethical bulk wholefood warehouse here, next time I'm there I'll ask about it.Maybe the best thing is to get a dehydrator, but if they are not fully dried(hard and crispy) you would still have to keep in the fridge and use within a few weeks.
Maybe fresh is best???
