Hi. I have been on the HCRV lifestyle for a little over a month now, and I am extremely excited that I am! But I have noticed that I feel incredibly stuffed after almost every meal. I am trying to fit 1000 calories in each one, but that leaves me uncomfortable and in pain. Will this get better as my stomach expands? This feeling also keeps me from moving around because I am so stuffed that I don't want to do anything. Any advice?

If you're eating the right amount of calories of carbs for you, and you feel "stuffed" after a meal, this has to do with lost stomach elasticity. A short article on this subject is here.

Permalink Reply by ORGANIC811LFRV on May 20, 2012 at 9:54am Mantika made a perfect reply and I agree. I will be on my last day tomorrow of a 92 day juice feast. I did this under supervision and glad I did. My next cleanse will be a water/rest at a retreat that is 811rv. This coming Monday I am starting on 100 days of adhering to 80/10/10 by the book. I already am 811rv but getting back into the swing of things will take time. I will give my self the first 4 weeks to get my calories to 3000. I'll also start training to walk a 1/2 marathon in Oct. This is a biggie for me because I recovered from insulin resistant muscles. Long story, read my blog if you are interested.
Changes that are good for us take discipline, education, support, and time. Give yourself some time and add calories slowly.
I admire your dedication to the 811 rv program and it will pay off -- over time.
Hugs

Permalink Reply by Laura Beth Gibson on May 20, 2012 at 11:44am I just started, and I am struggling to get in 2000 calories a day, but I am gradually getting to the 2500 mark. I don't think I could eat 1000 at every meal. Maybe eat what you can for one meal and snack a little later than sitting and eating that much all at once.
