It's going to be hard to find a book that deals with some of the practicalities that doesn't addresses the science. I would recommend the book by Ellen Livingston. She is a colleague of mine and of Doug's, and she is one of world's leading experts on "Simply 'n Healthy" raw meals.
I'll also say that even if you've got the food thing down perfectly, it is physiologically impossible to be as healthy as you can be if you are not paying equal attention to all the equally important requirments of health, which is why I wrote the book I wrote.
