30 Bananas a Day!

7am-3pm are the hours I'm the most hungry, but I can never bring enough food without feeling awkward as hell. I really just don't feel comfortable carrying around a huge bag of bananas with me around campus :P I've been bringing obscene amounts of dates, but I'm sick of them, and they aren't my favorite plain anyways. Any ideas for things I can bring along with me?

Me too! I wish I could just be comfortable with peoples reactions to my lifestyle, but I'm just not. I already get enough crap for being vegan.

im in high school.
i pack like 10 bananas to get me through the day, and baggies of grapes / apple slices

everyone just sees me pull out a big baggie of apples or bananas, they just dont realize i do it in every class:)

and it cracks my friends up, they just treat it like a quirk 

That's what I've been doing this year, but I'm transferring for my senior year and I won't know anyone or my teachers, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to get away with eating food in class, at least not for a couple weeks :P

i love dates by themselves but if i ever feel like i need something else, i sprinkle a little cinnamon on them and they taste and feel like the best part of a cinnamon bun. you know, the inside ooey gooey soft sweet cinnamon-y bit :) nummers.

remember that any judgement anyone puts on you is just a reflection of some part of him/herself that maybe he/she isn't comfortable with. it has nothing to do with you and everything to do with them. 

How about some grapes? or cherries?

I would make 'fancy' meals and put them in containers to bring to school!

make an apple pie with apples, dates, bananas, coconut... if people ask, say it's an apple crumble! :) 

you could try making a giant fruit salad (that has a squirt of lemon to prevent browning) and just eat that. people eat fruit salads (thankfully! :) )

i'm in university.. i bring a large smoothie in the morning and than i have 2-3 fruits to snack on until lunchtime, for lunch i have something in a large box like fruits or salad :) but sometimes i'm very hungry when i go home after school..
