Hi there, if anyone can help with this it would be appreciated.
I have been eating raw 80 10 10 for only 12 days. On day 8 I started getting the worst pain in the ball on my right foot and my big toe. It has gotten steadily worse and now I am limping and the foot is swollen. I saw a naturopath friend of mine she said it is prob some kind of toxins and advised me to eat cooked food and stick my legs up against the wall. Anyone heard of this? Is this Gout?
There is nothing like this mentioned in detox symptoms in Doug Graham 80 10 10 book.

Yeah I also read that soda can cause gout, high fructose cord syrup is one thing suspected, plus drinking acid of that type can't be good either! But yeah cleaning up the diet makes all the difference doesn't it? So excellent!

I have survived 10 days of gout and I am still 80 10 10!!!! I know it had nothing to do with the diet although my body trying to eliminate all the rubbish may have triggered it.
I did have a couple of cooked meals last week because I thought it might help. One was ok the other left me with bad stomach cramps during the night as well as the gout so I don't want to eat cooked food at all now. I did resort to strong pain relief for 3 days, but have taken as little as possible.
