Okay, so I've been a pretty bad newbie ... :( I've been trying to stick to LFRV, but I have kept giving in to cravings for cooked vegan food or worse, chocolate. :(
HOWEVER! After watching Freelee's latest video on transitioning to LFRV, I really like the meal plan guidelines she layed out and I am newly inspired to do a 30 Day challenge. Starting with being raw till supper and then having LFV cooked food like potatoes or sweet potatoes appeals vastly to me. I just need a buddy, and this is the best place for me to look for one. :) Is anyone interested? We could even form a group if possible!
Peace, love and seasonal fruit!

Permalink Reply by Loloford on June 15, 2012 at 4:41am hey everyone (beginners and others) ! I have a question:
Do you guys feel dizzy ? or did you feel dizzy at the very begginning of the program?
headaches, feeling sleepy after a meal of bananas and berries... are those symptoms of detox? (I eat less than 10% fat these days)
thanks for your replies!
Permalink Reply by RawGreenAmber on June 15, 2012 at 6:19am Hey Loloford - no, I haven't experienced that ... but I haven't gone through detox either. I do feel sleepy at times from a big carb-up ;D I think that's normal at first. But I don't know about the more unpleasant things you mentioned.
Permalink Reply by Loloford on June 15, 2012 at 6:43am is it because we are not used to carbing up?
and the headaches appeared just today... maybe I need to exercice, I didn't lately
Permalink Reply by RawGreenAmber on June 15, 2012 at 7:56am I expect that's the reason, yeah. Plus, the feeling of fullness from eating large amounts of fruit and veggies is likely to make one drowsy.
Personally, I get headaches when dehydrated. I'd suggest loading up on the water, keep a bottle to sip at all times!
Permalink Reply by Loloford on June 15, 2012 at 7:58am yes I sip all day long (and pee twice per hour :-)
we'll see tomorrow, and hopefully those symptoms will cease
if anyone else experiences something please tell!
Permalink Reply by RawGreenAmber on June 15, 2012 at 8:33am Best wishes, feel better soon! And keep us updated! :)

Today was much better and i started the day with a 1.2 kg melon breakfast, after which I felt dizzy and sleepy so I added 2 persimmons and I felt better.
I didn't wait to be hungry today and I had large meals (well, they were large for me) and snacks of dates before being crushed by hunger. and that worked, I think I missed some calories yesterday.
Today was also my 4th day totally 80/10/10, but it was not easy, I have been tempted to reach for my son's snacks, but I resisted, yay!
have a nice week end everyone!
Permalink Reply by RawGreenAmber on June 16, 2012 at 9:34am That is all so fantastic!
I haven't seen persimmons in my area yet, can't wait for them... :)
Permalink Reply by RawGreenAmber on June 16, 2012 at 9:37am I just want to share my excellent experience so far with mono-meals. I have been having trouble with overeating the wrong things (like LFCV food, or low-water fruit like dried dates) so I decided to really go for monomeals, instead of mixing even two kinds of fruit at a meal. It worked today! I had pears for breakfast, bananas for lunch, and finally a big salad (mixed veggies, but I think that's okay for supper) and felt more physically AND mentally satisfied. So glad I'm wrapping my head around really doing 80/10/10 the best way. =)
Permalink Reply by Loloford on June 17, 2012 at 7:20pm I totally agree with you.
we must load for breakfast, otherwise we cannot hold on through the day and tend to feel weak or binge on fat.
As I don't like bananas very much, I mix them with blueberries or a mix of red fruits, it's much easier for me.
how many calories do you have when you do that? pears are not very heavy.
Permalink Reply by RawGreenAmber on June 18, 2012 at 1:08am I would normally have more, but I had yoga in a couple hours so I only ate a few pears. Yoga is *impossible* on a full stomach. I carbed up straight after getting home though!
