Hi I'm a week 2 and raw till 4 and vegan has been great I started this journey with weightloss being my focus back in November now I want more than just weight loss I started at 259 lbs and have lost 70 so far. I want health and energy and a clear mind! I have a lot of weight to go but I need support and guidence. My family is accustomed to me eating a modified meal at dinner but not one person had noticed my new practices or even commented on the mounds of fruits in the kitchen. 7 kids and a husband 22 years of being a mom I now realize I could set myself on fire and no one would notice. Glad I an doing this for me! I'm too old to do this for any other reason I don't mean to complain but I guess. Am one of those women n their 40s who are invisible Should I say anything ? At this point it may sound like mom (even my husband calls me mom anymore) they thought I was acting out when I started yoga 7 months ago I know this is not a complaining board. So I'm ready to be told to shut up So is popcorn air popped ok. And what's the deal with tofu ? I haven't used them yet on this life style any other need to know will be welcomed thank you all

Hey everyone, I'm still fairly new to this lifestyle (only a few weeks in) and i'm suffering from severe bloating. Has this happened to anyone else? Was it fairly short lived? Any tips for some relief/ foods i should avoid?

I have a question too. Ive eaten a lot of bananas for breakfast, and they are in season I believe. But does anyone ever get tired of just eating bananas. For lets say, if you are just trying to make a meal out of just bananas? Any suggestions? Also I am crazy junk food.

I have a newby question about this forum: I am in vacation and I currently only have my iphone to access the web. This page is really hard to navigate on mobile view, or on the desktop view, because everything just looks too big! Is there an app I can use to access this forum?

It may be the casomorphins that are making it tough for you to kick the cheese habit. If you are having a tough time cutting it out of your diet, try some of the vegan subsitutes on the market. Dayia wedges and Teese are a couple of popular brands. I realize that vegan cheeses are processed foods but it is a far better option than continuing with the dairy.

This is my third try on this diet. It's always well until I remember cheese. This time around started about two weeks ago, and just right now I feel like I could die if I don't eat a grill sandwich with swiss cheese and mayonnaise. But I am keeping strong!

hi ,ive been vegetarian all my life since last 6 months im trying to eat max fruits and little cooked meals...i really wanna follow this diet 100% but just cant avoid tea coffee and little bit binging with my kids or popcorns at movies and stuff...since last 10 days ive started exercising and eat 90% just fruits and 10% of binging and teas...pls suggest is tht ok to b able to continue this lifestyle this ways or its gonna slow down the results

Natalie, I cannot relate to the elaborate dreams but the acne on the back..oh my goodness i had the worst acne on my back and chest for 3 months when I first started..never before in my life did I have acne there. My husband was questioning this diet because of it but thankfully it cleared up and now my skin is fantastic with the occasional pimple around that time of the month. Hope it clears up for you soon!

I'm hoping that is the case for me! I have read that sometimes it could take six months, so hearing that it was only a month makes me feel a little better. I am definitely going to stick it out. What about energy? I'm also not sure if it's just too early to see the energy since it's only been about 11 days or it's the heat. I'm in texas so it's about 98+ here. Finding it hard to concentrate a little also. All I think about is what I'm going to chow down on next. Last few days I'm actually managing to consume 2300 calories. I used to stay at 1500 so it's hard to keep calorie count up at times.
