I keep hearing about Juicing in negative connotation but Freelee has blended drinks all the time. Is blending not juicing? Or is juicing just extracting the juices from fruits and not having the…Continue

Is Cron-o-meter reliable?

I'm not talking about specific vitamins or amino acids. I'm asking about calories. Do medjool dates really have 66 kcal? I had 40 dates, 5 small bananas and 2 apples, and apparently I had 3300 kcal.…Continue

Are green tea and oolong tea accepted ? or strictly water

They are not as good when they are stored for many months and therefore dried out a bit but they are still dates so you can't lose any way you go! :D

Fresh ones are still dried, you can get "wet packs" or "firm packs" which have a little less moisture than the wet.  You can also buy them in the Khalil stage where they are crunchy and eat them that way and then watch them ripen up to chewy goodness, fun to do at least once!

Won't matter THAT much.

Hey, guys! Does anyone know If there is any difference between fresh and dried dates? Where I live, there are only dried dates...and i've seen in every Freelee's videos on youtube that see only eats fresh dates daily. Should I eat less dried ones?

Hey Anthony, well the headache left and than came back full force.   I mean it does make sense that it's a caffeine withdrawal, but why did it take until the 2nd week to get a pounding headache when I bend over or cough?  Five cups a day, 11 years in a row.  I expected this headache on the first or second day, not on the 14th 15th day.

Wow newveganmom, that's impressive. I did quit once. But it was more that my body rejected it and I couldn't stomach it for a while.

I have a feeling as my body becomes more alkaline, I may go through another rejection phase.

It could well be a caffeine withdrawal than.  I gave up 5 cups a day of coffee cold turkey.  I can't believe I got through it.  I don't even crave it anymore.  But I'm sure my body's thinking wth. Thanks for your replies.

My experience with headaches were at the early stages of starting veganism; day 15-25 if I remember had a few days with headaches. I figured it was due to toxins leaving the body that may have had a bit of a narcotic effect.

Granted, I've never given up coffee. I'm sure this isn't a popular position here. But I used to date a vegan woman who also drank coffee and well...she was all skinny and hot looking. So, I suppose my attitude is that you can balance goals with mild addictions. And if my goals are being reached, then I grant myself the enjoyment of a vice like coffee. But of course this is my choice, and I do not encourage it.

Also noticed a period around day 30 where I was hacking up green lung knarlies.
