Are your bananas fully ripe? If so they should digest well. But you can do other islands too - mango, papaya, grape, melon...whatever you like best :)

Hi Nana People! Nana's give me the fuel I need but My digestion isn't %100 yet and the Naner's make me constipated ... slow my digestion.. :( Any suggestions of other fruit or something. Thxs not sure if this topic was covered. Have a great day! :))

I just started Banana Island today! I plan on going for at least seven days, hopefully more. Ataulfo mangos are starting to pop up so I'm not sure, I may have to switch to Mango Island in a week! :P

I'm on Banana Island for a couple of weeks. However could be longer, as I'm just loving the creamy goodness! :)

@kickitlikekirra, consider yourself invited to the exotic banana island :)

@Casey  Yeah, I figured the norm was to pack only bananas.  Thanks for the response; sometimes the spaciness is fun, but I also like how grounded I feel when I eat the greens.  You're right, though, about being more comfortable with that "uncomfortableness."

@Nash4343  I was confused when I first saw a post about the island, too!  I was bummed I didn't receive an invitation to this seemingly fantastical island where only banana is ever served or even grown!

Do you only get the benefits of Banana Island by just eating bananas, or can you still include some greens?

30 is a good number. ;)

@Kirkitlikekirra...LOL I love the way you wrote that. The first time I read that someone was going to the Island I had no idea what they meant. I kept thinking, "What Island is this person going to?" LOLOL At this very minute I am on Banana Island :) around noon I am headed to Orange Island and ohhhhh how I can't wait!

Enjoy~

Kickitlikekirra, I bought some romaine today, but other than that I have had no greens since some celery about a month ago...not on an island at all but just been doing fruits only. I dig it so far...I used to eat a lot more greens but lately I just haven't felt any craving for them so I haven't. I think for a true island experience you give up greens and strictly eat exactly one fruit and nothing else but water for a while. Fruit only is a higher level and if you're not used to it it can seem spacey but I think it's good to be comfortable with yourself on that level if you can...
