That is one cool photo Winlord.....Make me smile BIG.
Comment by Janel Holt on January 12, 2011 at 4:17pm I completed my 10 days even with a little detour of mono meals of other fruit. I really enjoyed it. I found the only difficult thing was remembering to prepare for those moments when I'm busy and unable to eat. I relied on banana/water/blueberry smoothies which were delicious. I did side track today due to stress about money. (i.e. cookies!) Of course I didn't feel good while I was eating them and neither did I afterward. I was emotionally upset over some things with a family member and I was mad and feeling really low and I didn't make a wise choice, but I'm not letting it get me down. I received my 80-10-10 book today in the mail and it couldn't have come at a better time.
Comment by Windlord on January 12, 2011 at 2:08pm Don, there's nothing special about "banana" island. It's the pure mono that does the trick. Pick your fave and have at it! If I could have had unlimited Pap's like you, I might still be goin' till I turn orange :)
I'm actually not that crazy about Cav nan's, so sometimes this was a challenge. Now, if I ever get my paws on plentify apple nan's...
As it is, close of Day 11 of 11
25 nan/5 unripe plantain
I trounced my original goal of 7 days, and have achieved my longest ever isle sojourn.
Tomorrow brings a new adventure, and I can almost gAHrAHNtEE, it won't include the grinning yellow boomerang :)
Peace out, Peeps, I'm hitchin' the next ride outa here!

Comment by Don Stewart on January 12, 2011 at 9:21am I think I will try it again Windlord. Not like I am cheating eating cookrd food but like you know last time I lasted 1.5 days and fell victim to a big rip Papaya. Be fun just to eat one food for 10 days. Maybe the last ten days of the month? Nice thing about living here is I can find Banana's rip all over so no need to eat anyting even a little green banana wise.
Lets see I'll start January 21st though Janurday 31st...yaaa ok.
