You have an eye *and* the technical skill. Those nature shots in the first gallery are stunning.
So, I imagine you're available for photography around Los Angeles, right? And are the photos on your site available for licensing? Just want to make sure all the details are here, so that 30bad'ers can consider you for shoots!
I paint, draw, write, sing, act, and make clothing an jewelry.
I've never tried to sell anything but DEFINITELY something I would love to do (and need to do lol)
I would be into illustrating too, definitely.
I am also studying to be a holistic health practitioner and holistic nutrition counselor.
hmm nothing too good and no real high quality photos of things, just some I took with my phone camera lol.
Here is a little of my art work and photos on facebook:
Some samples of the clothing I've made, sort of:
If anyone wants to hear vocals I can sing something and send it to you to see if its what you're looking for. I'm more alternative, rockish or country style sound typically. And I'm not actually trained or anything, I just love to sing.
As for acting I've taken Intro Acting my freshman year, than honors shakespeare acting. Next semester I'm taking Advanced camera acting. Just something I found I love when I took the class freshman year (of college).
Crochet blankets, baby hats, hats, scarves, soap bags, can give anything you want a try.
For jewelry I mostly make earrings. Mostly dangly ones. Often swirly ones with pretty beads.
Bristol, your dresses are gorgeous! (Go to the pics in Bristol's profile to see them.) I've stayed off facebook so i can't see the artwork there.
It seems your jewelry, clothes, and artwork might be well suited to etsy or your own site. If you want to get feedback or encouragement or help getting something going, feel free to start a new discussion in this group!
Hey Kristin, thank you! :)
I posted a couple examples of my art in my latest blog on my 30bad page. I also posted a couple later in this thread :)
I was a dancer (main focus ballet but do most all dance) for 12 years. I could easily teach dance class, especially ballet.
I have taken triathlon classes for over a year now and have a lot of knowledge on biking, proper running form and also how to swim swim. I
feel like I am good at yoga and could teach a class.
I might not have as much knowledge on lfrv as durian and freelee but I feel like I have enough to help someone transition or someone who just needs tips. I am very creative with recipes and the presentation on dishes too.
I have house sitted and taken care of animals many times. I am very tidy and good at cleaning houses.
I am also a very good nanny and have been nannying/babysitting for 4 years now.
Have some experience in modeling.
I think the best thing is that I am a good listener and am always there for people who need someone to talk out there problems to.
I smiled when i read that you recognize your listening skills and being there for people as particularly valuable traits. You're so right that it's these types of intangibles that are key, even though they may not even appear on a resume.
Since many of these offerings would need to be in your area, where is home for you?
Great, Kelly! Do you work with clients in person only, or also via email/phone?
Is there anything we can do to help you toward your goals for this work, whether that is to raise your training/coaching income or to spread awareness of your offerings, or anything else?
Why don't we start a new discussion here to talk about your business? If you'd like, please start a thread! We can discuss your goals for your business and for the next few years of your life, and then help you get there!
I'm very good at being me! Don't think it can be used as an income but I'm a pretty cool guy non the less.
LOL sorry just playing around
