Comment by Reveling in fruit on May 1, 2013 at 12:57am I give guided meditations. The number of people participating in this meditation group is growing and it gives so much back to me. It is all about finding that peaceful consciousness that watches everything :).
Comment by THe FruitBliss on January 31, 2013 at 1:44pm My dear ZestyLime , I give You my Sincere Support to begin again . I know how You are feeling . I know . As You depicted it . OH , how I would like to give You Support in Person .
I know the Chaos around can withdraw lots of Energies . But begin with it .
In the Brain , it will be easier then .
You will achieve , on the Material Level , for sure , carefully and slow , in concentrating on the Movements You make , External and Internal , to put into their Suitable Places , Object by Object . I assure You .
I think its Vital , this Harmony around . Its simply , the Principle of Feng Shui that You know so well . The Energies . The Details , I mean , how We feel it , are up to Us to decide and feel .
You have , as I have mentioned above , achieved Infinite Possibilties in the Realm of the Absolute and the Strengh , as well, to produce in an Infinite Way , almost , what a HumanBeing can achieve ... through Meditation . YOU .
It will come back , my dear Person . I give You my Support .

Comment by ApeGirl April on November 29, 2012 at 4:18am Hi, I have heard about the benefits of meditation and would like to try it but I don't understand how to do it? How do you meditate?
Comment by nihal bhat on October 17, 2012 at 7:46pm hi all. this is a smallish group thought id say hello to any meditators out there on this diet lifestyle plan. i find its totally different these days than compared to when i was eating cooked. i can concentrate much better. the diet itself is a meditation
I'm also thinking of getting into meditation. I wouldn't mind discussing how to do it.
First, I have sleep apnea and I'm trying new ideas for better sleep. For that reason I try to have a calm 30 minutes in a low-light environment at 9:30 p.m. to center my mind on my breathing and counting. I then try to inventory the day & decide if I've made mistakes I need to correct, or left anything undone that I might start thinking about while I try to fall asleep. If I can "finish" with everything, I start trying to calm my thinking; come back to the moment; do muscle relaxations and meditate on sleeping.
Second, I'm getting absent-minded in my old age. I've lost sunglasses, almost walked away from a busstop and forgot I was riding a bicycle, and I get to thinking so hard about the future that I forget what I'm doing NOW!! So in the morning I try to think about the day and concentrate on what I need to do that day and what I'm doing NOW!! And when I get up from the sitting position, I try to maintain that concentration as I begin to walk, drink tea, work, or whatever I'm doing.
That's my experiment with meditation. It's too late for me to become a master, but maybe I can avoid dementia for a few years.
