Hello Michael. The best way to meditate is the way you find perfect for you at this time in your life. However, if you are starting new on this path one suggestion is to sit for 10 to 15 minutes and simply focus on your breathing. Aware of your in breath, and aware of your out breath.  This may not sound exciting, yet you will find that on the spiritual path the simplest approaches are often the most powerful and profound. As you begin here you will be guided to what is next, realizing that your approach will evolve and change.  Meditation is not a stagnate experience, rather something that is ever evolving and taking you to newer and higher openings within to the Lord God of your Being.

Ghul, all meditation methods put something between you and yourself.  So if you can, skip the method and just be with yourself.  While focusing on your breathing pretend that you are the tip of your nose.  Let the feeling take you, enjoy :)

Zeba thank you so much for the wonderful reply! I will follow your advice, am a beginner in meditation (and don't know anyone who does it), it really helps a lot your support. Also started yoga some months ago and loving it! Will practice as you say, and embrace my energy bubbles. So beautiful what you describe, thank you thank you, much love to you <3

Zeba, your words touch a deep level. On one level it sounds simplistic, however, in the spiritual path the simplest things are usually the most powerful. Thank you for sharing your heart.

i wanna experience states of bliss and joy and maybe any other state that might have healing qualities, what type of meditation should i do ?

Love the way you shared Zeba.

Our thoughts and feelings only have power when we give it to them. Usually it comes from judging them by trying to change what is coming up in the moment.

We buy into believing the feelings or concepts reinforcing them even believing they are who we are or fight with them trying to get rid of them or fix them . Either way we are acknowledging their importance giving them life and power over us. 

Just touch these illusions without judgement and they are no more.
