Hi there! I am new in the zone, and I find good prices just in ALDI. I´m looking for dates and figs but without sterilizers and glucose stuff. where can I find here? any RV-countryman?

Permalink Reply by Tom on May 15, 2012 at 2:11am If you spend >£250 Infinity Foods Wholesale are doing them half price - £6.60 for 2kg. Delglet Nour, 5% water, 330kcal per 100g. That's a thousand calories a quid - beat that!!
Figs - same price, 10% water, 215kcal per 100g.
Apricots - same price but they are quite wet (10% but it seems more) and so only 180kcal/100g. Still >500kcal/£
Tesco Galias and Cantaloupes a quid each at the mo. Had 3 galias this afternoon that I bought a couple of days ago - wow, what a lift :) Nice and ripe.
Good luck Adriano!

There are a few of us in the Westcounty and we have our own group on Facebook 'westcountry fruitarians' if you want to join us :-) we may be having our first fruit party/gathering at the end of this month :-)
