I don't I've in Cornwall but I get my dates from Sainsbury's they're £2 for a pack of 10, but there's usually 11 sometimes 12 in the pack. You can get the non organic ones from Asda for less but the Sainsbury's ones taste better. The non organic from Sainsbury's are pretty good too.

If you spend >£250 Infinity Foods Wholesale are doing them half price - £6.60 for 2kg.  Delglet Nour, 5% water, 330kcal per 100g.  That's a thousand calories a quid - beat that!!

Figs - same price, 10% water, 215kcal per 100g.

Apricots - same price but they are quite wet (10% but it seems more) and so only 180kcal/100g.  Still >500kcal/£

Tesco Galias and Cantaloupes a quid each at the mo. Had 3 galias this afternoon that I bought a couple of days ago - wow, what a lift :)  Nice and ripe.

I live in Plymouth!! I get organic Medjool dates in Tesco :-) they're really fat and yummy too.

There are a few of us in the Westcounty and we have our own group on Facebook 'westcountry fruitarians' if you want to join us :-) we may be having our first fruit party/gathering at the end of this month :-)
