Comment by Celery N. Dates on May 15, 2013 at 9:59am Dennis, thanks for the advice. I think you're right, actually, about the eating enough calories to stay warm. Unless it's the magic of the dates, cause it seems like when I have a lot of those I have warm hands and feet. I know two people with Reynaud's. So, is that the closest produce wholesaler to me you think? (I live in Raymond, NH) I appreciate that information-- I am very new but I have been watching plenty of Harley's videos off and on for the last couple of years, read Doug Graham's and Arnold Ehret's books. I'm just finally giving it real effort this time... started just a few days ago. I already had an oops and caved in to two slices of cheese pizza (gasp, I know). I just figure maybe the cold turkey thing just ain't gonna work for me but not to fall of the wagon completely and just give up altogether. Of course I felt physically awful after so that's my motivation to stay on the straight path.
Cool, another Mainah. I'm near Ellsworth/MDI area. Welcome!
Comment by FaithH813 on May 15, 2013 at 7:36am Hi guys! New to 811 and loving it :) Just wanted to introduce myself and say "hi!" from Maine!
Comment by Dennis Price on May 15, 2013 at 7:12am Celery, I have something called Reynauds Phenomenon. And I also was particularly as a whole super sensitive to the cold this winter when I was eating very little carbs. This weekend I went hiking on a mountain and it was raining and my friend was like "arent you cold?" So, I think its just making sure you're eating enough calories. I dont think it's anything in particular. I ate dates and dried apricots on this particular day if it makes any difference.
Comment by Dennis Price on May 15, 2013 at 7:09am I'd find your nearest fruit produce wholesaler and buy fruit by the case. I'm from Chelmsford, MA. There's a wholesale producer in Salem, MA
Comment by Celery N. Dates on May 15, 2013 at 2:59am Hello from Raymond, NH. Does anyone here have tips on what fruits or vegetables help you to stay warm? Juiced or raw ginger (yang) is all I can think of. My hands and feet are almost always cold. I think I have a thyroid problem. Hopefully this diet will help cure it.
Comment by Dennis Price on May 7, 2013 at 2:02pm I'm aiming to hit up disc golf festival in MA, catskill chill in NY in September. I am thinking about going to Electric Daisy Carnival in Chicago later this month. Anyone here like electronic music want to go on a roadtrip? Oh yeah theres a regional burnman thing called Firefly. Have any of you attended that? Not a music festival persay but lots of fun none the least.

Comment by Rawfully Yours on April 30, 2013 at 12:40am Our oranges have been fairly tough still as well. Have gotten some wonderful minneolas though! :)
Cantelopes have been plentiful and on sale a lot lately and strawberries. Oranges still good, watermelons are horrible right now for some reason. Staples still dates and bananas. Awaiting for some peaches......
Planted greens outside and am looking at building a small geodosic biodome this summer :)
Still getting frost at night but it's been beautiful and sunny during the day.
