Comment by Gordon Lindberg on March 17, 2013 at 7:52pm Where do you get your fruit?
I get mine from working on saturdays at pinos in parhan market.
Just wondering where the rest of the fruit munchers in Melbourne get their stocks of fruit.
Comment by Gordon Lindberg on March 10, 2013 at 8:13pm Currently working 1 day / week at the Parhan market and getting paid in fruit =) highly reccomended if your poor like me but love the fruits.
Hey Sapote' here, u guys can't get much wholesale fruit can u? only way to deal with that is to dumpster dive sometimes, if u message me I can forward the locales & good times for bins around the city, including maybe the best bin I know in the world for raw food, anyway nice to be a member, cheers Sapote.
Comment by Gordon Lindberg on July 19, 2012 at 7:58pm I know Cosco at Docklands does Medjool Bard valley dates for around 10$/kg. I asked if they could do any cheaper for a bulk order.... but a bulk order is 1 whole pallet!! Only downside of Cosco is that it costs $60 / year to be a member. But you save alot on common household items.
Comment by Daniel Kerr on July 15, 2012 at 9:23pm General Notice : Dandenong Woolworths (across from the markets) are doing Bard Valley dates at $9.50 per kg. I am not associated with Woolworths, and the dates are not organic. They are however at the right price. :)
