I'm just going to put this out there. I love Jesus, he really rocks my world
I also love fruit and believe he gave us the perfect food for optimum health and just wondering if there is even one other person in this great big website who's on the same wavelength?

Permalink Reply by Claire Cathrin on June 30, 2012 at 3:47pm I love Jesus too! He's astounding. He was technically homeless, a nomad, and most importantly always talked about love. I don't know how us Christians get it wrong so much XD I'm also vegan :D I don't think he was though. He participated in the Passover Feast, and let's not forget one of his miracles was multiply fish to eat.
There are a lot of things about our faith I don't understand. But I've spent hundreds of hours of research and I do know that I have a solid reason for believing in this faith. I always try to keep an open mind. I love reading about philosophy, fables, and learning lots about other religions. You are not alone :)
Permalink Reply by Gordon Lindberg on July 2, 2012 at 9:01pm Yup, totally agree. I came kicking and screaming all the way but since I've been a vegan it keeps amazing me how brainwashed most people including Christians are. It's the best way to eat - the way that God intended from the beginning (Gen 1:29) ovbiously man's sin got him kicked out of the garden and cursed the earth so I used to think that because of that everybody had to eat meat. But after re-reading Genesis 9 its clear that God only gives us the choice of anything to eat, which is later refined for the jewish nation in Leviticus 11.
Just like Divorce was permitted under the Law but from the beginning it wasn't so (matthew 19:8) I believe that while eating w/e is permitted its still the best to go with God's origional plan!
Funny to find that your also from Australia O_O. Double thumbs up for going vegan in this bogan redneck culture. I've been vegan for about 4 months and im loving it =) I've lost about 15 kg's so far, recently sold the v8 and got bicycle. I know its hard to be a vegan here is Aus, espically high fruit, but just keep on going and if you fall of the wagon get back on!
Hi Gordon
I always like to think of Gen 1:29 but conflicting messages in my Church which has a cafe and all the SAD stuff they serve up,if everyone was LFRV I think there would be a look my devoted Christians in this world, Cheers
Permalink Reply by Jessica Edson on July 26, 2012 at 5:38pm I feel the same way! Thank you for posting this! The only problem is that I have trouble finding many Christian men who feel the same way. I have come into contact with several women in my community that are vegetarian or vegan and also strong Christians, but not even one man. It's a hard thing when you are a single girl and want a mate that shares your belief system and will be supportive in your choices. Boo. :(
Permalink Reply by Em on July 29, 2012 at 7:00pm I second this... I've never met anyone, let alone any guys, that are on the same wavelength.
Permalink Reply by Bodan Mulholland on July 30, 2012 at 4:00am I am a Christian man, strong in his faith :D we're out there! It's not very common, but keep looking :D
Permalink Reply by Jessica Edson on July 30, 2012 at 1:27pm Thanks for giving Emily and I hope, Bodan :)
