I am just curious why so many people in this group do not have their age displayed...
While I get the idea that 'age doesn't matter' (especially with this diet) - it really does with certain aspects of our lives...
Is it intentional or just that people don't realize it isn't displayed?
Would love to hear some perspectives...

Perhaps we're all eternal. My four cents ;)

Honestly, I think that is a GREAT perspective in 'concept' - but there is a human reality...people that are in their 20's have not necessarily gone through the 'family', 'kids', 'marriage', 'career' phase...
I also, in my experience, find that when people hit their late 30's and early 40's they start to see life very differently. This is a rough generalization - but I have seen it time and time again..
Soooo, I definitely agree that we are all eternal (well, not physical form - but energy-wise) - however, there is a reality to living and loving on this planet - especially in Western cultures...and maybe Eastern, too - I can only speak to Western.
Thanks again - always appreciate different perspectives! :-)

Oh and anytime you wanna play with me send a message and I'm skype too ; )
Permalink Reply by Don Bennett on February 3, 2011 at 3:06am In the Profile Information that you fill out when you join 30BaD, ones age isn't asked for, so this may be a reason people don't think to list it. For this group, it might be a good idea to add the age question into the group description (LFRV? Single? Enjoy long walks on the beach and eating fruit? Join the group. You may find someone that sparks your interest).
Then do we want to know chronological age (me=56) or one's RBA (Relative Biological Age) which is your age relative to the general population (me=26). The longer you've been living a health-enhancing lifestyle, the lower your RBA relative to your chronological age. Plus, ones photo can sometimes be revealing enough.

Permalink Reply by melissa jackson on February 6, 2011 at 2:33pm I got my age displayed. 22. Turning 23 in 9 days.
Except, my personality is like those of a child. I like simplicity, and not taking too much responsibility of paperwork. Minimalism is my love, just as the rain. =)
But when I get philisophical and SOLEMN, especially when pissed off against discrimination; I sound like some cranky old guy in a body of a youth [maybe that's what I think].
Immature with adult life in society, especially when dealing with work and taxes. But mature when getting into subjects of the internal self, and the spirit; and the mysteries of life [I'm glad I've attained that awareness that I've sought for].
