hi,

i've been a wanna-be-raw-vegan for two years and a real raw vegan since february and a HCRV since april. up until now it was mostly easy because in my home I got rid of everything else... but now my daughter is back from her exchange student year and she is eating a "regular" diet... this makes it harder for me - although not as hard as I thought. it's not a question for me if HCRV will be my permanent life style... it will be. it is just a matter of how often will i decide to have something non raw again. I have had regular-dead-"food" three times since I started in febraury. i think a lot about it and then find something HCRV that can make me feel satisfied.

I'm not really looking for solutions but rather experience and the such. what i mean is I'm not desperate but just looking for others who have experienced the like.

CeNadra, welcome to 30BAD.  What concerns me right off the bat is that you said "I hope I can keep it up".  Why doubt???  You must be sufficiently motivated to be sufficiently committed to this program.  It isn't a fast track to anywhere.  It is a serious commitment to your health.  Are you that commited??  What are your obstacles?  Do you have support near you on the home front?  Have you read 80/10/10 yet?  Did you eliminate all meat, dairy (including cheese!!!!), packaged/boxed/canned/bagged phood from your kitchen?  Did you load up on produce?  Are you tracking?  Use Cron-o-meter.

As you can see these are specific questions.  I am one that IS commited.  I hope you are too.  Why do you want to go this route??

SO happy to be vegan! I've decided to be completely LFRV starting right now! I hope I can keep it up! I've only been vegan for 7 months and I feel so great! being low fat cooked vegan was quite a step for me so hopefully this site and this group can help me out =]

Carla, that would be wonderful. However, it is better for you to realize how strong you are and that any blip in the program can be overcome easily.

I will be starting in 12 more days!! I am really really excited and right now I'm in a 2 detoxing days of water, followed of 10 days of oranges detox :)
And then, ready to be 100% 80-10-10 HCRV... I hope everything goes perfect. :)

I will be starting 100 days of strict 80/10/10 in 27 more days.  I will be doing a daily blog.  My educational path led me to Natural Hygiene 20 years ago.  Because of ridicule and negativitiy and lack of support I reverted back to sad and continued down the path of self-destruction with phakephood.  I got very sick last year and got back on the path to HCRV thank God!  I am no longer ill and am at the tail end of a 92 day juice feast.  I couldn't afford the time away nor the cost of doing a water fast at the time.  My body healed drastically.  I can hardly wait until I am back on HCRV chewing! LOL

I'm happy to be part of this team.  Hoping to give and receive support along the way to excellent health.
