30 Bananas a Day!

Anyone get random panic attacks/heart/breathing problems. A lot of stuff has been going on, I almost drank myself to death to cover up my stress for about 10 years. Now that I quit, I'm still going through a lot of problems and it was over 5 months ago.

Go to AA meetings.  Trust me they're great and you will find the most amazing people there.  You can also contact me.  Haven't had a drop in over 25 years.

agreed, it's very helpful to meet others who are having the same issues.  Congratulations also for quitting. 

I've found exercise to be very helpful in relieving the anxiety of doing without substances.  And time and rest.

If you think your stress levels are very high maybe there are some life changes that can be made to reduce this.

Thanks man. Do you know much about how alcohol messes with the body. I still have health issues and I've been sober for 7 months. Can long alcohol abuse affect the body for long periods of time. What does it harm?

I know the liver, but has there been any diseases that people have gotten from drinking? Thanks.

Have you heard of Dysautonomia/low thyroid/Postural Tachycardia? I don't drink anymore, but the alcohol gave me that escape. Has people had these sorts of issues after chronic booze drinking.

I've dealt with panic attacks before. I've found that what has helped me has been decreasing or eliminating use of caffeine as well as yoga and meditation. Seriously, yoga and meditation can do wonders for helping reduce the stress and anxiety that often can lead to panic attacks. I know how much panic attacks suck but hang in there & try to focus on deeper breathing.

Panic attacks? yes i had those and couldn't even breath properly

Heart pains? Yes

Breathing Problems? Yes

All of my problems have gone. My advice? get those toxins floating in your blood stream out of you. 

What i did and what i think you should not do? Go on a water fast right after drinking alcohol for 3 days. you will experience horrible nightmares and cant sleep properly. Its not nice on the people around you.

I would eat watermelon and just oranges for a week with lots of water.Any fresh fruit that is high water content! Just flush those toxins out of you!
