I really want to sleep on my back because of all the benefits. When i try to do it in bed i just lie there. Its great for relaxing but i cant fall asleep or sleep that way. Just seems impossible. I also get an urge to move to one side after a long while
Any tips, thoughts etc?
I haven't been able to fall asleep on my stomach for a long time. What i do is just focus on my breath when i am laying down and try not to think, just focus on the air passing in and out of one of your nostrils. I do the same thing when I meditate and since i began doing that almost 2 years ago I haven't had problems falling asleep most days its rare that I can't fall asleep within 10-20 minutes after laying down.

Also its mentioned that sleeping on a hard surface is also the most beneficial you can do. Because it stretch out your back etc etc etc
I don't see/know the benefits of sleeping on your back:D
I never slept on my back until I had motorcycle accident and I had to sleep on my back for 2 years.
Tried different beds and surfaces, but my back always hurts when I wake up:)
Best tip I can give is the same Tyrell gave. Focus on your breath;)
