I can't enjoy a regular banana anymore! I have to force them down me so I get enough fruits for the day! Bananas used to be my favorite fruit! Now I get scared eating them! Bananas make me sick, not where I get a really upset stomach and through them up, but where I just get an acidic stomach feeling! The only way I could enjoy them is by making them with smoothies, but I had to add some almond milk or some fats to enjoy them! I stopped that because I know that's not good, but how can I get my body to enjoy them again! I eat other fruits too, it's just it's easier getting enough calories by having bananas as my main fruit!
Would anyone know why I get sick from bananas and what I can do, so I'll enjoy them again?

Your right! It's easier eating them before they go bad during the winter! During the summer I have to by them more often so I don't buy too much at one time! If I buy the same amount during the summer as I do during the winter about half of them I would be putting in the trash! I found out how to get my bananas ripe now! I'm taking my bananas up stairs in my house, they ripen over night that way! I'm doing great now!!!

you can't, because you've upped your standard, you'll just have to upgrade to less sugary fruits, like coconut water, grapefruit (which is an acid fruit so i dunno). or better yet alkaline leafy greens. which means no sugar rush, which means no sickness or acidification.
Thanks for your info! It's just hard finding other fruits during the winter that tastes good! Where I live, I don't have much to choose from! The fruits around here are mostly picked to early and they don't ripen too good! So I might have to find some I can afford to order! Anyway it's just hard getting enough fruit carbs in me eating fruits like that as my main fruits! That's why I stick to mostly banansas! Another thing I have to watch is I have hypoglycemia and bananas help me with that! If I don't get enough fruit carbs then my blood sugar drops too low and I can have mild seizures if I don't watch it! So I just make alot of smoothies with bananas and spinach! It helps cut down on the sweetness for me! Thanks for your help and have a great day!
I've experienced the same with bananas and my wholesaler has said bananas do not ripen well in the cold. I make sure I drink water before I have a banana smoothie and also adding lemon or lime juice gives them a more pleasant taste. I'm having a break from bananas at the mo and have replaced them with very ripe persimons, which are delicious blended with medjool dates and fairly high in calories. Good to vary things up.
