Out of the 15 days I've been hcrv there has only been one day I go to bed full and wake up feeling completely empty. There has also only been one night where I slept the deepest sleep I have ever had. I can't for the life of me figure out what I did differently on those days that don't seem to happen any other day. Things that make you go hmmmmmm.
I hope both those things come back soon, because it was glorious =)

Permalink Reply by Peter Csere on June 19, 2012 at 1:10am On the day you slept great you may have burned less calories and therefore been properly carbed. It is easy to be undercarbed starting out, since the stomach feels "full" after 5 bananas.
If you are undercarbed you will not sleep good. If you eat too close to bedtime you will not sleep good. If you do not drink enough water etc etc etc.
Remember, there are other things that affect sleep too. One danger of this diet is that people forget to take non-diet factors into account with their health issues. You can make sure electrical items in your room are unplugged/turned-off and you do not have a cell phone or wireless router on nearby. These things disturb sleep; this has been confirmed by modern neuroscience. You can make sure there is as little light as possible in your room, and as little sound. Etc.

As for the carbs...I am stuffing myself through out the day and can barely get 2200cal.
