Hi does any body know any alternatives from washing with soap and shampoo as I know its not the healthiest thing for your skin as it contains fluoride, chloride and many more harmful chemicals.
I try washing with lemons its OK but takes a lot of time to wash with and its quit strong on the skin.
Thank you for your help :).

as long as you see a need for using "something" additional to plain water, you could try a good aleppo soap ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aleppo_soap ) or Ghassoul (lava earth powder). I'm using aleppo soap, sometimes even as shaving foam replacement, and I'm happy with it.
Bye

In this case, a little baking soda might work. Sodium bicarbonate is found in many fresh water supplies anyways. We drink it in minute amounts, and already bathe in it.
You could take a spoonful or two in your hand and add a little water until you have a runny paste, or in a container, mix a few spoonfuls in about 1cup plus of water.
This may help neutralize any odors.
Peace, PK
Hot water and a wash cloth is all you need.
Permalink Reply by Peter Csere on June 15, 2012 at 3:12am Oh yeah, about the behind. If you aren't eating meat/dairy products then your poop isn't going to have the kind of nasty harmful pathogens that it would if you were SAD or paleo. It will smell like fruit.
Also, I wouldn't know much about this since I live in the land of AMERICA but in many ther places they use bidets which are toilet-like devices next to the toilet that spray water all up in your badonkadonk (sp) so you don't really have to use toilet paper unless you really want to. Also, handheld "bidet" sprayer wands are sold that hook up to the toilet's water supply. You could also use, of course, a watering can-type device or heck even a rectal syringe/handheld enema bag that you of course don't use for its intended purpose anymore since david wolfe coffee enemas aren't supported on 30bad.
I should also mention that cold water is better for the skin than hot water.

Permalink Reply by Karolina Neyrus on June 15, 2012 at 3:27am Yup, just like many, simply water. I do occasionally use vegetable based soap when I have to shave somewhere, cause otherwise I tend to get skin irritation.. but other than that no shampoo, no deodorant..
If you think you do get body smell still, when you eat cilantro, throw some left over stems and roots in a bucket of water and when done with the shower use that water. Cilantro will work as deodorant and prevent body smell.
