30 Bananas a Day!

What would you do with a pack of high fat/salt goodies received as a gift from a friend?

So a friend sent me a pack of raw goodies (or should I say "baddies"?) from the states , but most of them are high in fat and salt (some ppl can't seem to process the info: no salt and no fat in diet), what should I do with it? Any ideas? Unfortunately (or maybe Fortunately) I don't know any high fat/salt raw food ppl in my area! She meant well, but she just doesn't get it.

What would you do with it?

Thanks!

Re-gift.

will the birds eat it?

I tend to give away chocolate/biscuits etc I am given at xmas, throw it out for garden birds and small animals,or stick it in a bank for a charity shop if a long shelf-life.

I'd add them to the compost.

Say thank you, turf them in the rubbish. Not good for anyone ;)

i'd give em away at a food bank for the starving, it's bad, but dying from starvation is worse.

Give it to someone else, or dump in the trash, or compost anything that can be composted. You may want to taste just a little so that you can say that you had it without lying.

lol! thanks Mark! But if I was asked, I would tell the truth, I already told her I don't eat salt nor high fat stuff, so it's no news...She says she's worried I'm not getting enough salt, so that might be why she surprised me with this gift pack. Ah well, she is a great friend, she just has never experienced anything much better than the SAD diet. My persistence in keeping my position on the subject (as opposed to a lie) can actually have an impact on her way of seeing things: maybe she'll start believing that one can actually live with no added salt, and way better than with it! :)

People die of salt deprivation every day, For the Love!  You don't know the danger you are in!!! ;p

Thank you all so much! Great ideas! will do! :)

Compost is probably most sensible option. That way you aren't eating it, no one else is (maybe critters, hopefully not) and you aren't adding unnecessary garbage.

Flushing it down the toilet uneaten will do a couple of good things :

1) It will strengthen your will and won't power

2) It will spare you and anyone you care about from eating bad food.

Why not give them to some homeless person?
