30 Bananas a Day!

What was the best thing you did for your skin ? 2 weeks later - ahhhh skin!

 

I'm just needing some advice or maybe just some inspiration! I have been trying to heal my acne prone skin the natural way through diet for a yr now, i just feel like i need to read some positive stories that will give me some hope as i'm still having trouble with breakouts.

 

update : 1 month lfrv, my skin is not behaving itself at all!

It's dry, soooooo dry, especially my face. It's like every pore on my face is clogged now. yuk.  it feel really rough and bumpy to touch, all my breakouts are much smaller, like pimples, reather than the occasional cyst i would get on high fat.

 

I'm drinking lots of water. sweating doinf my insanity workouts !! dry skin body brushing.

ummm maybe its the bananas, but i'm lost without those.. i've been told in the past my body doesn't like bananas by a holistic therapist, but i've been eating quite alot of these to keep my calories up as i'm working out every day and i'm actually looking to gain weight! not lose it. so. hmm., what to do, what to do ??

yes! for a long time I'd splash my face with water every night (probably habit more than anything)...when I forgot to do this for a couple weeks, my skin cleared much faster!
I also enjoy daily exfoliation and sunshine...plus what Sara said...BAM! clear skin :) and I'd had horrid acne since I was 10!
what if she's working out and sweating like a mother?

Lol, i love that with low fat you can actually stop showering and not smell :)
I already only wash with water and i don't shower that much either.
I eat low fat now, but it's only been a month. I've had 2 avocados and some coconut in that time.
hmmm i think unsoaked dates make me break out :(
yep i agree i need to sweat more! i think i may get the rebounder back from my mum's !! that'll get the lymph moving :)

just wanted to add: plenty of sun, fresh air, exercise (gotta clean that lymphatic system), not eating too late, no overts, diaphragmatic breathing.
ah hhaaa i always eat too late ! tut tut. would you say before a certain time ? 8pm ?
3-4 hrs before bed, by 7 pm would be better prolly.
I think the sweating part is REALLY important! I even go to a gasp!>> normal gym now because I know I can get a better workout and reach the point of sweating a lot faster than trying to exercise outside in my temperate climate (and I know I won't sweat at home). My skin has always been a challenge. Keep it up.
