30 Bananas a Day!

Many doctors have said that I have anxiety and that I should get on a Phychiatric Anti-Depressant. I've heard that they're horrible!

Every day I think it's going to be my last. These episodes have been freaking me out, and all this pain has been horrible.


I know that a lot of people on here dissagree w/herbs, but it's a lot better than Psych drugs.

I need to do more research, but last night I bought some St. Johns Wort, Valerian Root and some Chamomile. Also I'm taking a 1/4 niacin=25mg because even with 1/4 I get a hot/burning reaction.

I also have been taking some warm showers and scrubbing hard to get my blood flowing and seems to help to relax.


Any recommendations!??!?!?! Thanks!

you talk very "easily" and when do so, pls speak for yourself. Thousands of people that use it from every corner of the world and every step of society could "easily" argue with you... And our ancestors too!

I wasn't trying to "provoke" you Elias. I was just saying you should post according to the guidelines, especially when someone's health is at stake. This is, after all, a forum for people who want health from the vegan fruit-based lifestyle, drug-free, kind of like "straightedge" style. I'm not the least bit interested in talking about the use bongs or pot. :) Not one bit. It's irrational IMO. And I don't get into irrational arguments. Just saying you should not be advocating the use of them here which I'm sure most of those moderators would agree on. Bye and ttyn. :) 

Dreamer, for the last time, I wasn't aware of the guidelines, I am also trying to leave a drug-free ,fruit-full, natural life and the use of any herb, fruit and vegetable that nature has given us falls in that lifestyle as long as there are no health adverse affects. Since my 10 year usage has given me enough experience to know what this herb and vegetable causes to me and since all the latest research that I came by through the years have shown exactly that, I feel obliged to recommend it to anyone I feel that could find the info useful. I DON'T advocate more than anyone else giving advices to Datiger about food supplements, visits to doctors etc! I don't agree with many things that people say here but I don't go attacking anybody trying to give help just because of that...

Sorry again about the guidelines, but I guess we should let Datiger judge what he want's to listen or not and what's irrational or not (as he has).

Some of the most depressed crew I know smoke loads of bongs lol!

Datigers issues are pretty obvious. Needs full body sun, b12 shots etc.

I specifically talked about vaporising it or eating it, even though eating it in our case is not so 80/10/10. Vaporising is a completely different thing from smoking and is the healthiest way of getting you medicated. It's healthier than eating bread as it has NO side effects...

Yea, when I didn't have the anxiety I was fine smoking when I was in H.S.. Since having these chronic isuues, I can't touch the stuff. I get way too messed up. It's not a relaxing feel at all for me. Some warm tea and warm showers are nice. I get that great nice feel of being clean and the blood is moving and my heart is racing normally. It's pretty nice.

Thanks Elias. It's good that it's working for you. If I were to smoke it would have to be something extremely soft/low grade. I used to drink a little alcohol and slowly but surely I became an extreme alcoholic. I would much rather smoke than do psych/pain killers, but when I've smoked in the past it really messed me up. My body just can't take that much right now, I gotta just take it easy.

Are you kidding Elias? Cannabis will just screw up brain chemistry even more! I used to smoke cannabis and I reckon it's one of the big reasons why I became depressed in the first place!

Exactly. There's so much pro-cannabis propaganda out there it's almost ridiculous. How about fixing the roots of your problems instead of masking them with drugs? And please don't fall for the trap of believing cannabis isn't harmful or that it is mild...

  • Impaired judgement
  • Increased risk of accidents
  • Loss of motivation
  • Diminished inhibitions
  • Increased heart rate
  • Anxiety, panic attacks, and paranoia
  • Hallucinations
  • Damage to the respiratory, reproductive, and immune system
  • Psychological dependency
Yeah sounds like those are good for a already depressed and paranoid persion.. not!
