Lol, I used to listen to church sermons before finding myself tearing while running. I then changed to K-pop music instead, before totally removing the mp3 off my ears while running.
I now run without music :)
Rock, metal, dubstep, electro - anything powerful and base driven keeps me energised :3
Have you ever seen Ministry of Sound's Running Trax? Its perfect!!! The songs range from fairly poppy and funky to absolute hard-out stuff you can sprint to, its WONDERFUL. There's even a 1hr interval training guide where someone talks you through your workout with the songs playing.
I like listening to Michael Franti (and Spearhead) when exercising.
