30 Bananas a Day!

What is going on with me? Sciatic Pain! GAined 25 Pounds! What!

Hi 80 10 10ers! I need some encouragement, I'll try my best to give you my info.

July 18th I started this lifestyle. At 21yrs old, 5'4'' I was at 113 lbs and now I'm at 138.7 lbs with horrible sciatic pain that travels to my left knee now. This happened around middle of August at 124lbs. At this point I have fatigue like no other, when I get home after 9-11 hours of standing at work I crash, miserably in bed crying. Lately on my days off I walk at least one hour a day or till the pain kicks in.

*note I am usually pretty active, dancing, yoga, biking, moving just for fun

When My dad told me at Age 11, "If your mom wasn't so fat I could be attracted to her" I stopped eating and started starving my body, especially from carbs. To clarify my mom weighed 155 lbs at 5'2''

Yes I am recovering from restrictive dieting, like the drink tea only diet and binge on two avocados and half a container of bought hummus diet. Also getting over BDD, depression to demonic girl crap, antidepressants, recreational drugs, genital herpes, yeast infections and UTI's...yuck!

Strict vegetarian since 18, this January I was down to 102 lbs from stress of leaving a very toxic relationship. As the pounds crept back on with frequent infections every 2nd week; at 113, I took the plunge and went high carb vegan without meds. I am mostly doing fruits, some evenings I have a cooked meal (rice/potato). I try my best to get over 2500 cals, using cronometer. Most of the time, 95-5-5.

I know this diet is working because I haven't had one UTI or any yeast infections! And I only had two out breaks from herpes since I started. And that to me is a Miracle! I also noticed from gaining, I don't have cellulite like I've had with past gains. Just tightly stretched skin which is uncomfortable. My mother has been super supportive by doing this with me, she's lost 18 pounds so far.

Any love, help, and connection is completely appreciated, I feel better just writing this!

Thanks- amyjo

Thank you so much Peter! It's a special delight to see your response.

Get with a Certified Iyengar (yoga) teacher, you can learn how to take the pressure off the sciatic nerve.

So great your Mum is doing this with you!!! :)

+1 for Peter's observations

Wishing you well!  Hugs! :)
